Freshdesk Integration

Breakout Room integrates seamlessly with Freshdesk, enabling customers to submit screen recordings along with their help requests.

To enable Breakout Room for Freshdesk, just follow these steps:

  1. Add a new field called "Screen Recording URL." This should be a "single-line text field."
    1. Note: this field must be exactly labeled as "Screen Recording URL."
  2. In the Admin section, select "Portals." Then, click "Customize portal."
  3. Next, navigate to "Layout & Pages" and select "Portal Pages."
  4. Scroll down to the "New ticket" templates.
  5. Add Breakout Room's external javascript, and jQuery, to your Freshdesk template. A

  6. Your customers should now be able to submit screen recordings through your Freshdesk help form, and the URL for those recordings will display within Freshdesk after submission.
